How to Retrieve Purchase Receipts on iOS?

If you need a receipt for an in-app purchase made on the App Store, follow these steps to find and download it.

Step 1: Check Your Email

Apple automatically sends a purchase receipt to the email linked to your Apple ID.
Search your inbox for an email from Apple (no_reply@email.apple.com) with the subject "Your receipt from Apple".

Step 2: Find Receipts in Purchase History (iPhone & iPad)

If you can't find the email, you can check your purchase history directly in the App Store:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap Your Name → Media & Purchases → View Account.
Scroll down and tap Purchase History.
Find the transaction and tap on it to view details.

Note: Purchases made under a different Apple ID won’t appear in your current account’s history.

Step 3: Get a Receipt from Apple’s Website

For a detailed receipt or to download a copy:

Go to Apple’s Report a Problem Page.
Sign in with your Apple ID.
Find the transaction and click View Invoice.
Click Print or Download the receipt.
